Originally from the North Mississippi area, I started in radio at age 14. My first paying radio gig was at WSAO-AM, a little station in Senatobia, MS where I learned the trade, working my way up from part time weekends to program director. From there I moved to Memphis where I worked for WEGR-FM, WREC-AM and WEZI-FM in various part time positions until I was called to do mornings and program WUSD-FM in Biloxi, MS in 1991. I came back to Memphis in 1993 to work for WOGY-FM and later found myself working for WMC-AM/FM, then at WOTO-FM. I left Memphis, again, and moved to Denver, CO where I worked as Production Director for KNRC-AM. Memphis called me back home, yet again in 2005, and I've been proud to work for WRVR-FM since then. I have a great wife and two wonderful kids and my hobbies include playing music (percussionist by training and currently learning guitar), martial arts, and I actually enjoy working in the yard. When I'm not on the air, you'll either find me hanging out at Guitar Center or relaxing at home in Cordova.

What do you think about the Memphis Police Dept. being taken off the show "48 Hours"?
Good. It shows worst parts of Memphis. We don't want the country seeing that.
Bad Move. "48 Hours" shows how great our PD and detectives were at solving crime
