14th Annual Big Scoop Ice Cream Festival

It’s Scoop Time! Get ready for some sweet summer fun as WRVR 104.5 The River invites you to a a fun-filled day downtown full of ice cream, treats, games and entertainment as Schnucks presents the 14th Annual Big Scoop Ice Cream Festival.
Kids will love the Children’s Activity Land, with games and prizes for children big and small. Hang out with Ronald McDonald, Rockey Redbird, Pouncer the Tiger and other costumed characters.
Memphis Sound Entertainment presents The Summers band. (picture from website) - they look like the Jonas Bros.
Enjoy a special performance by the Watoto de Afrika Dance Group, and Ronald’s Magic Show.
And let’s not forget about the star of the event…ICE CREAM!

Advance tickets are $5 and are now available at Ronald McDonald House of Memphis or pick them up at all Schnucks locations beginning August 22nd. Admission is $7 per person at the door; children ages three and under get in free.
“First Come First Served” complimentary parking available at the Toyota Center.
All proceeds from the 14th Annual Big Scoop Ice Cream Festival benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Memphis.
Ronald McDonald House is a “home-away-from-home” for families who are in Memphis while their child is receiving treatment for cancer or another catastrophic illness at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. All families stay completely free of charge.
